Fountain Of Hope Shelters

The conception of the FHMIC Shelter Project was birthed out of our West Seattle branch’s “Food to Feed” program, a one-year pilot program that ran from August 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022.  This program was purposed to minister through food (community meals), peer support, encouragement, spiritual counseling, and ministering the Word of God.  This pilot program was held at a Veteran’s Center which is also an overnight shelter for men and women.

Going forward, we have adopted this program as one of FHMIC’s full-time programs and intend to replicate it within our Arizona branch.  With our mission of “bringing hope to the hopeless and salvation to lost souls” this is the best chance for us to bring hope in the communities we serve.

As a church we want to offer these programs in an effort to introduce healing, discipline, order, routine, and responsibility in the participant’s life to help them meet their developmental goals and bring awareness to the individual that change is possible.
